The front of the COE located at the front of the building and the theatre located at the back of the building are two locations that students usually pass by on a daily basis and are often used. The front of the COE is where many students enter and exit the building and are immediately hit by the air once they have entered, it is also an environment where some students study and some wait for the shuttle. The Theatre, being at the back of the school is usually where students from residence pass by on a daily basis to go to the cafeteria or students in general pass by to go to the lower lot/GAC. It is used primarily by drama students to set up, practice and host shows.

The final verdict for both locations were moderate to unhealthy air quality, which was very surprising for us since the front of the COE doors are always opening and closing which allows fresh air from outside to enter the building, which we assumed would help level out and increase the air quality. However, we noticed that due to the amount of students that come in and out of the building in addition to those that sit in the COE affects the air quality in that location. In regards to the theatre, a very closed off location that is not usually crowded or used by many individuals, the air quality was still very poor, opening the back door in the theatre and allowing fresh air to enter did not help or improve the air quality in that location.

We believe that the crowded aspects of the school play a part in negative air quality as regardless of there being fresh air entering the building, a dissemination of students being in different parts of the school and less so in the same space, crowded together in addition to a large variety of objects crowded in the theatre can help improve the air being circulated.
